Privacy

Last updated: 2026-05-29

This page applies to Pleres Group, Pleres Midstream, and related Pleres entities, who jointly control how this information is handled. Postal address: 94 W 1st St, Ste 120, Edmond, OK 73003. This page describes what we collect, what we do with it, and who we share it with.

What we collect

From the contact form: Name and email (required). Organization, phone, basin, inlet conditions, stream source / custody point, and free-form notes (optional, as you provide them). Route selection and entity identifier from the URL.

From SMS: see SMS below.

From server logs: time of submission and route. On suspected-bot submissions (when the honeypot field is filled), we also log a salted one-way hash of the originating IP, for abuse detection only.

What we do with it

Visitor analytics

Apollo identifies the company behind a visit from its IP address. For US visitors, it may also match the visit to an individual record (name, title, company) in its own database. Apollo acts as an independent controller for this de-anonymization and enrichment; it is not our service provider.

This tracking is consent-gated. For EU and UK visitors it is opt-in: Apollo is not enabled until they accept. For US visitors it is opt-out: Apollo loads by default, and they can decline. We honor Global Privacy Control. To opt out, use the “Your Privacy Choices” control in the footer.

EU and UK visitor data is transferred to Apollo in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses, and Apollo also participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For EU and UK visitors, the lawful basis for this tracking is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), distinct from the legitimate-interest basis that covers the contact form.

Apollo retains data folded into its own database under its controller terms; customer-scoped data is deletable within about 90 days of termination. See Apollo's privacy policy.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures aggregate traffic without cookies or identifiers tied to your device, so it stays on whether or not you accept visitor analytics.

We set two first-party cookies for this: pg-consent (remembers your choice) and pg-region (a coarse region bucket so the right consent rule applies). They carry no personal information and are never sent to any third party.

Apollo's tracker stores three values in your browser's local storage: an anonymous visitor identifier (apolloAnonId) and two operational entries prefixed with our Apollo account identifier and ending in _canTrack and _eventQueue. It does not set first-party cookies on this site. The tracker sends your visit data to Apollo, which acts as an independent controller and may set its own cookies and use its own service providers; see Apollo's privacy policy for what Apollo does with it.

Who we share it with

Apart from Apollo's visitor analytics, described above (which is a sale and/or share of personal information under California law), we do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers, brokers, or analytics aggregators.

SMS

If you are an active client of Pleres Group or Pleres Midstream, we may send transactional SMS: replies to inquiries, scheduling, and operations updates. We do not send marketing SMS. We do not auto-enroll prospects, form submitters, or new contacts.

SMS is transported through Microsoft Teams Phone and the underlying US wireless carrier. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Pleres SMS is delivered only to recipients in the United States. We do not send SMS to EU/UK numbers.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@pleres.group.

See SMS Terms for full SMS program terms.

Retention

We retain CRM records as long as you remain a contact of interest or until you request deletion. We may prune inactive records over time.

Confirmation emails, server-side abuse-detection logs, and SMS content are retained per the relevant upstream provider's policy (Microsoft 365, Cloudflare, Vercel, and the wireless carrier respectively). Links to those policies appear above.

What you can ask us to do

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your records by emailing hello@pleres.group.

Categories of personal information we collect (CCPA/CPRA): identifiers (name, email, phone), professional information (organization, role context you provide), and internet activity (IP, timestamp). We also collect internet and behavioral activity (pages viewed, session behavior, and the de-anonymized company or individual) that is shared with Apollo for the business and commercial purpose of identifying and reaching prospective business customers. Business purposes: responding to your inquiry, routing it to the correct Pleres entity, sending a confirmation email, and detecting form abuse. We do not use this information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Enabling Apollo's visitor analytics is a sale and/or share of personal information under California law. You can opt out using the “Your Privacy Choices” control in the footer, and we honor Global Privacy Control. California residents have the right to request access, correction, deletion, and to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through this site.

For EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): the lawful basis for processing your contact-form submission is our legitimate interest in responding to a business inquiry you initiated (Art. 6(1)(f)). You may object at any time by emailing hello@pleres.group. Visitor analytics (Apollo) is separate and relies on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), as described under Visitor analytics above. SMS is US-only and not directed to EU/UK recipients.
